Novemberszenen Season 2001/2002: For the first performance of Lothar Trolle's "Novemberszenen" nach Döblin, directed by Hartmut Wickert, stage and costumes by Marina Hellmann, Fritz Feger has written a stage music. This theatre production uses the "Extrachor" (extra choir) of the Bielefeld opera, and the stage music is restricted to this medium. Formally, this therefore is a theatre play with opera choir. Or an opera without arias, orchestra and ouverture, but with spoken words. The music promenades between urban business and intimacy, november revolution and today, between "agit-prop" and German folk songs, between mysticism and minimalism.
